To apply for commercial still photography or filming production in the public areas of Makuhari Messe, please submit the Makuhari Messe Facility Shooting Application in accordance with the below.
Requested dates/times and content will be reviewed for approval.

Areas outside the facilities on the premises
*This will be permitted only if the facilities adjacent to the area are not being used.
*Shooting is limited to situations where the exterior and design of Messe facilities are relevant to the content.
*If using the inside of the facilities, the regular facility usage application and facility usage fee will be required.

General hours: 7 AM to 9 PM (Within eight hours)
Any use beyond the hours above will incur extra fees.

1. Shooting applications are accepted in principle from one month before requested date.
   Please submit plan outline and storyboards when inquiring. These will be reviewed in deciding whether a permit will be issued. After shooting has been permitted, please submit the Makuhari Messe Facility Shooting Application separately.

2. Once the shoot has been approved, the application will be returned to you with an approval stamp and a statement with the shooting management fees. Please remit payment of the shooting management fees at least one week before the shoot.
3. If the shoot is cancelled less than a week before the scheduled shoot, 10% of the shooting management fees will be charged.
4. If there are shooting-related charges to be settled afterward, please remit payment according to an invoice that will be sent afterward.

Shooting will not be approved if any of the items below apply. Further, approval that has already been issued may be withdrawn if any of the items below are found to apply.

1. If there is a strong possibility that the shoot would infringe upon the objective of establishing the facilities;
2. If there is a strong possibility that the public order will be disturbed or good public morals may be corrupted;
3. If there is a strong possibility that facility user activities or visitor traffic will be interrupted;
4. If there is a strong possibility that the facilities or fixtures will be damaged;
5. If the content of the previously submitted shooting application and the actual content are inconsistent;
6. If shooting management fees are not remitted by the payment deadline;
7. If there is a strong possibility that there would be interference with management/operation of facilities etc.

1. Electricity and plumbing are not available, so please bring your own.
2. Eating and smoking are permitted in areas only specified during consultation.
3. Please carry all trash back with you. Also, please return any fixtures or furniture that have been moved to their original state.
4. If used for a movie or TV drama, we request inclusion in the credits.
5. If facilities or fixtures have been damaged, compensation at actual cost will be requested.
6. Please take caution that shooting equipment etc. does not block fire extinguishing equipment.
7. If a fire or accident should occur, contact the Management Center［訳注：15］ immediately and take initial response.
8. In case of emergency such as fire or an earthquake, please follow the instructions of the facility administrator.
